Accessing object storage

To use Object storage, authorized users need to configure EC2 access keys via the S3 protocol.

Creating

To create an EC2 access key:

  1. In the Control panel, go to Object storage → Access.

  2. By default, EC2 keys are not created. To access using a software client via the S3 protocol, you must create EC2 keys by clicking Create EC2 keys.

  3. An access key and secret key will be generated, which can be copied to a client program (e.g., S3 Browser, AWS, or Cyberduck) to access containers via the S3 protocol.

  4. Depending on the region where the container is hosted, specify the appropriate access address. Current access addresses are available in your account under Object storage → Access.

Deleting

To delete an EC2 key, select the desired аccess key and secret key pair in the Object storage → Access section and click Delete.
